Sharon Karaa

Sharon is a full time author from the North East of England, and writes comedy because she needs something in her life she can laugh at, other than herself.

"Kathleen is a real find. She took my precious baby (a baby, I might add that had already been "professionally" edited) and polished it to perfection, picking up on many mistakes not picked up at the first edit. As a British writer who sells well in America, my biggest gripe was the number of reviews I received citing spelling mistakes where I'd used British English. Kathy took my very British comedy and, while retaining the feel and the British humour, made it something my wonderful American audience can enjoy. She also rapped my knuckles for my aversion to commas. I can't recommend her highly enough."

                                                                                    Courtney Williamson Milford
Courtney lives in Windermere, Florida with her husband and three children. She's owned and operated a wholesale automotive fleet leasing company called Courtney Leasing, Inc. since 1991. She has a degree in English and a master's in secondary education, both from the University of Florida. Courtney is writing a series called The Grace Family Chronicles. it is historical fantasy in that the history is accurate, but the characters have special powers called "Graces." She also writes a children's picture book series called Tales of Bark Story Land.

"Kathy edited all six books in a historical fantasy series I wrote. The books are a good 100k+ words long, each, but she managed to edit them in a timely manner while also being thorough. She has also edited other books for me. I would trust her with your manuscript. She understands the fantasy genre, and does not question whether or not characters can have super powers. I would not hesitate to hire her again. She is very easy to reach, and seems to enjoy discussing the content of the book at length, which is always a treat for the author."

Dragon Quests is the first book by Canadian                                                     author Ron West. It took him four years to go                                                     from idea to publication, but he did it.

‘Accomplished’. That came first to mind thinking                                                         about Kathy. I was impressed by her capabilities                                                       to edit, yet maintain, and bring out the best of 'my'                                                     story. She’s ‘Accomplished’, look it up.

A.B. Wood is a sassy southern girl with a love                                                     for people, food, music and laughter; and will                                                       never turn down a glass of wine or whiskey.                                                         An only child, raised by a single mom, and a                                                       wife and mother of two boys, she has                                                                   experienced so many “ya can’t make this stuff                                                     up” moments in her life, it just made sense to                                                       start writing. Her favorite season is                                                                       college football (GO HOGS) and her happy                                                         place is on any beach. When she’s not writing                                                     you can find her volunteering at her local high                                                                                      school. Her motto is, “Don’t miss out on                                                                                                living, ‘cause you’re afraid of dying.”

“Kathy is very approachable and easy to work                                                                                                                                       with! She is quick to respond to questions with                                                                                                                                       professional honesty, and truly enjoys her work!                                                                                                                                     And have no fear, she will find all the missing                                                                                                                                         commas!”

James Welcome is a first-time author, telling                                                            about his youth growing up in the "hood", in                                                            north central Florida. His mom and his                                                                    grandmother did the best they could to raise                                                            him and his sisters under tough conditions,                                                              but he still made some very bad choices.

"I really enjoyed working with Kathy, she's easy                                                                 to work with and helpful. I am going to use her                                                                in the future, thanks for your help!

Billy W. Merritt is the salesman who                                                                     respects his clients and knows what he's                                                             doing. He has been devoted to anything                                                             automotive since his model car kits and Hot                                                       Wheels collection from his childhood. Now, he                                                   gets to work at selling real cars, and loves                                                           every second. This book has all the secrets                                                       salespeople need to have, to be a success.

"When the student is ready the teacher will appear."-Buddha. I                                                                 relate to this in that, I knew one day I would need an editor                                                                                                                    and a publisher but I had no idea where to look, who to ask or                                                                                                              how to find either. Now, here I am with a complete, edited,                                                                                                                    published book. I honestly don't know when and how I met                                                                                                                    Kathleen or how she chose me or I chose her but I sure am                                                                                                                  thankful that she was the one to help me make this dream a                                                                                                                  reality. She is a perfectionist and she cares. That is easy to                                                                                                                  see in her work and in any conversation you have with her. I                                                                                                               look forward to working on many more projects with her. That
                                                                                                           is for sure.

J. Boyd Long is an artist, musician and writer      who lives in rural north Florida. These are three   books in a series that he wrote.

"Kathy did a great job of communicating with me throughout    the editing process, and stayed on schedule, both of which      were important things for me. She found a variety  of                mistakes that I never would have caught                                    (clinched/clenched, cubicle/cubical) and my manuscript is all    the better for her efforts. Many thanks!"
